The College of Northern Colorado will discontinue the boys’s and ladies’s tennis applications as a part of a cost-saving effort brought on by funds shortfalls created by the coronavirus pandemic.
The college, situated in Greeley, Colorado, will now sponsor 17 intercollegiate athletic applications, together with 9 girls’s sports activities.
Northern Colorado stated it would honor the scholarships of the affected student-athletes who proceed their schooling on the college. In accordance with NCAA switch guidelines, the student-athletes are instantly eligible to compete for one more college, and Northern Colorado stated it would help them throughout the switch course of.
